Accountant Responsibilities

The Accountant will support daily accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing, expense reporting, reconciliations, and reporting. Responsibilities include:

• Process high-volume invoices and ensure accuracy in coding and approvals

  
  
• 
  

• The Accountant will review and process employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

  
  
• 
  

• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and research outstanding items

  
  
• 
  

• Maintain organized vendor files and ensure proper general ledger coding for all transactions

  
  
• 
  

• The Accountant will support month-end close with AP reports, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations

  
  
• 
  

• Partner with procurement, operations, and finance teams to resolve invoice and payment issues

  
  
• 
  

• The Accountant will ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Qualifications of the Accountant Role

• 
  

• Strong accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment

  
  
• 
  

• Previous experience processing and reviewing employee expense reports required

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems required

  
  
• 
  

• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis

  
  
• 
  

• Knowledge of general ledger processes and reconciliations

  
  
• 
  

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
