The successful candidate will bring strategic oversight into financial operations, ensuring the Division's fiscal integrity and compliance with GAAP, GASB, and all applicable state and federal regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for receipts and disbursements of cash, recording of assets, liabilities, revenues, expenses, and fund equity accounts for all active and historical loan funds.
  • Primary back-up to the Accountant 4, Systems Manager, and is the default delegate to cover for the Systems Manager in their absence.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and reports for internal leadership and external agencies.
  • Reconcile and consolidate current and prior year expenditures against each loan fund and assist and advise the Accountant 4, Systems Manager with asset classifications and allocations.
  • Conduct ongoing cash flow analysis and reconciliation between IRIS and LOANS, the Division's loan servicing platform.
