Supervisors are responsible for the direct oversight of employees of a designated account and/or on a designated shift. To include ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met. This is a walking & driving position, with constantly patrolling of Public Schools.

Pay: $21.00 per hour.

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public. Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

License:

  • Valid State Driver License

Experience:

  • Three years of Supervisor experience preferred.

Overall:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Ensure that shift schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.
  • Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered.
  • Accommodate increased / decreased client staffing requests (Events).
  • Represent ABM by participating in client briefings and communicating with Client representatives on a frequent basis regarding operations.
  • Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
  • Maintain daily shift report for managers.
  • Perform basic administrative, payroll and Attendance functions (as required).
  • Maintain communication with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels.
  • Effectively coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
  • Conduct Safety and Quality audits.
  • Work with Safety Quality Manager to ensure the safety, security, and quality of the operation.
  • Ensure front-line employee compliance with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with Staff and Custodians.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
