This role offers the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced finance leaders, providing essential support in accounting and financial data management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounts receivables, accounts payables, and related financial records.
• Prepare journal entries and other accounting system input documents.
• Process payroll, including auditing timesheets and posting accurate pay codes.
• Handle purchase orders, assign accounting codes, and verify invoices before payments.
• Consult with bank personnel, contractors, and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain statistical and financial data for reports.

Requirements:

• Possession of a California Driver's License.
• Successful completion of required training courses and exams.
• Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade and one year of college-level elementary accounting courses.
• Two years of experience in administering accounts and compiling fiscal or statistical data.

Preferences:

• Two years in the classification of Administrative Clerk within the Housing Authority service.
• Demonstrated knowledge of elementary accounting principles.
