Job description: Job Description Job Summary Responsible for leading account and technical sales activities and CRM (customer relation management) activities to drive business growth in conjunction with the coordinator. Supervisory Responsibilities None Essential Functions Tactical and operational planning with the coordinator and Domestic sales team in Head Quarters to determine primary objectives within regional CDP Develops long-term and short-term business plans with CDP (Customer Development Plan) Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by the company management in accordance with KPI's Develops and implements account strategies in accordance with the company's and the product line's goals and strategies Leads execution of the account sales activities to grow in the US Automotive market Leads negotiation with key customers to resolve commercial issues (price, annual cost reduction, LTA, obsolesces, ECR cost and so on) to collaborate with the global cross functional organizations & teams Develop productive business relationships with key, cross-functional personnel across all levels of the organization with your assigned customers Manage programs/projects through the full commercial life cycle (i.e. RFQ phase to mass production and EOP) including the management of engineering changes for commercial and timing impact Conducts market research, analyze trends and VOC (voice of customer) to identify new opportunities Sales performance monitoring and reporting to the coordinator and Domestic Sales team in HQ: Track and report on sales metrics, including revenue, pipeline development, and customer satisfaction & claims. Analyze sales data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary Required Skills/Abilities Minimum 5 + years of experience in an account and technical sales assistant manager position at Tier 1 supplier to OEM (Hyundai, Kia, etc.) experience preferred Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives Excellent interpersonal, communication, program management and presentation skills with ability and willingness to communicate, and work with other regions and locations Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or account management- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, including market analysis, sales forecasting, and pricing strategies Experience with product management (Business Development) or program management is a plus Excellent skills with MS Office and SAP Knowledge of commercial issue management such as: pre-production components, contract negotiations, purchasing orders, pricing, tooling, engineering changes and supply chain development Ability to conduct market research and analyze data effectively Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree (MBA is a plus) Physical requirements Able to lift 25 pounds Additional Notes Due to the nature of this role and applicable safety and labor laws, only candidates who are 18 years of age or older will be considered.
