Schneider is seeking an Account Representative in Chicago to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Account Specialist Team within Schneider's Transportation Management (STM) division.

Location: Chicago, IL, USA

Shift: 1st Shift

Work model: On-Site

Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking an Account Representative in Chicago to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Account Specialist Team within Schneider's Transportation Management (STM) division. The Account Representative will resolve issues, provide support to customers and carriers and develop strong internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Use third-party portals, send emails and make phone calls to assist with scheduling shipments.
• Reply to customer emails in a timely, courteous and accurate manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Solve problems for accounts by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure freight is classified correctly.
• Use reports, dashboards, tools and other technologies to meet customers' needs.
• Oversee orders from beginning to end.

Skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
