Join our dynamic Front End Grid Technologies sales team at Siemens Energy, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy! Imagine engaging with renewable developers, investor-owned utilities, and EPC companies to drive impactful infrastructure projects and cutting-edge transmission and distribution solutions. You will be responsible for providing sales coverage in the Washington, DC metro area and greater Philadelphia, PA region, while maintaining long-term, strategic relationships with key customers. By building account plans and sales strategies, you will navigate the evolving electrical industry and energy market trends, serving as the single point of contact for strategic customers and leading technical and commercial negotiations. Your consultative selling approach will empower you to connect with utilities, independent power producers, developers, and EPCs, making a significant impact in the energy sector.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Provide Transmission & Distribution solutions and products sales coverage in the Washington, DC metro area and greater Philadelphia, PA region.
• Maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key customers.
• Build account plans and sales strategies to drive business growth.
• Understand and follow electrical industry and energy market trends to stay ahead.
• Serve as a single point of contact to strategic customers, leading technical and commercial negotiations.
• Navigate solution and consultative-based selling to utilities, independent power producers, developers, and EPCs.

What You Bring

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical related field preferred.
• 3 or more years of sales/marketing/engineering experience with an understanding of the energy industry, electrical utilities, and renewable energy. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
• Must have some experience with the Energy/Transmission and Distribution industry or Siemens Energy knowledge of products/solutions.
• Ability to build, grow, and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Excellent communicator (verbal and written), capable of leading a defined strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of proposal responses and contract negotiations.

Willing and able to travel 50%, domestically and on occasion internationally, as required.

This job may based in District of Columbia.   Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.  Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html.  The base salary range for this position in Washington, District of Columbia is $145,000-$200,000 and the annual sales incentive target is 25% of base salary.  Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
