    Account Manager - Property and Casualty

    Hybrid | Walnut Creek, California

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    What You'll Do:

    • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships that drive retention, satisfaction, and long-term growth.
    • Partner with Producers to support new business opportunities and renewal strategies.
    • Analyze client exposures and recommend coverage solutions aligned with business objectives.
    • Provide technical insurance guidance and assist clients with complex coverage questions.
    • Review policies, endorsements, and coverage documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Coordinate with carriers and underwriters to secure competitive coverage and pricing solutions.
    • Manage the renewal process, policy servicing activities, and client requests in a timely manner.
    • Support claims coordination and advocate for clients throughout the claims process.
    • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
    • Consistently meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    What You'll Bring:

    • 3 to 5+ years of commercial insurance account management experience.
    • Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance coverages and principles.
    • Experience supporting mid-sized to large commercial clients.
    • Ability to interpret policies, endorsements, forms, and coverage language.
    • Experience working directly with carriers, underwriters, producers, and clients.
    • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems preferred.
    • Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
    • Professional designations such as CIC, CISR, CPCU, ARM, or CRM are a plus.
