Overview
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market to enterprise clients within the transportation and logistics space. This is a high-impact role focused on account expansion, customer retention, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Manage a portfolio of up to 10 key accounts, providing high-touch service and building long-term client relationships
Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts by increasing freight volume and expanding service offerings
Conduct regular account reviews to align on performance, uncover needs, and drive strategic growth
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving issues quickly and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Negotiate rates and pricing strategies based on market trends to maximize profitability and client retention
Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of shipments and overall service delivery
Utilize TMS platforms, Google Sheets, and customer portals to manage loads, track performance, and maintain accurate data
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage (3PL experience required)
Proven ability to manage and grow client accounts in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
