ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Manager at Jim Riley State Farm, you’ll be a key part of our day-to-day success—supporting customers, strengthening relationships, and helping grow the agency. This is a professional sales and client service role where you’ll use your insurance knowledge to recommend the right coverage and deliver a great customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention, referrals, and growth.
  • Conduct proactive policy reviews and recommend coverage options based on customer needs.
  • Make outgoing sales calls to warm leads, listening to their goals and presenting suitable insurance and financial solutions.
  • Use your product knowledge to help customers understand coverage options clearly and confidently.
  • Assist with existing customers by answering questions, updating policies, and ensuring the service they receive is timely and accurate.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complex service issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate coverage, timely updates, and excellent service.
  • Track activity and performance goals to support measurable agency growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience in sales or account management preferred (but strong candidates with aspire to succeed at sales/customer service experience are encouraged).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you can connect with people and earn trust.
  • A sales mindset with a proven ability (or strong desire) to meet targets.
  • Comfort engaging in sales conversations and following up consistently.
  • High integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to compliance and customer-first service.
