More earning potential. More opportunity to grow. A career where your effort and results make a difference.

At Joffe State Farm Insurance in Mesa, Arizona, we're expanding our team and looking for an outgoing, motivated Insurance Sales Representative who wants to build a career, not just find another job.

No insurance experience? That's okay. We will teach you.

We are more interested in your attitude, work ethic, communication skills, and willingness to learn than whether you've previously worked in insurance.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe hard work and strong performance should create opportunities to earn more.

  • $37,000–$40,000 guaranteed annual base salary

  • Uncapped sales commission — your earning potential grows with your results

  • Expected annual earnings of $52,000–$75,000+

  • Healthcare stipend to help offset eligible healthcare expenses

  • Paid training and ongoing professional development

  • Full-time, in-office position in Mesa, Arizona

Your base salary provides stability. Your commissions give you the opportunity to build on it.

We don't expect you to know everything on day one. We do expect you to show up ready to learn, improve, and contribute.

What You will Actually Do

This isn't a position where you sit behind a desk waiting for the phone to ring.

You will have conversations, build relationships, help customers understand their insurance options, and develop new business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Connecting with new and existing customers by phone, email, text, and in person.

  • Preparing and presenting quotes for Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and Business Insurance.

  • Following up with prospective customers and confidently asking for the business.

  • Identifying coverage gaps and opportunities to better protect customers and their families.

  • Helping existing customers with insurance questions, policy changes, and coverage reviews.

  • Building relationships that lead to referrals and long-term customers.

  • Working toward individual sales goals while contributing to the team's success.

This is a sales-focused role with customer service responsibilities. You will need to be comfortable making outbound calls, handling objections, following up consistently, and taking initiative.

Who We are Looking For

You don't need years of insurance experience. But you do need the right mindset.

People who succeed here tend to:

  • Enjoy sales and working with people. They like conversations, solving problems, and earning trust.

  • Want to earn more. They're motivated by goals, results, and the opportunity to increase their income.

  • Take ownership. They follow through, show up on time, and do what they say they'll do.

  • Handle rejection. A missed opportunity doesn't discourage them from making the next call.

  • Welcome coaching. They're willing to learn, accept feedback, and put it into practice.

  • Stay organized. They can manage follow-ups, learn new technology, and balance multiple priorities.

  • Think like a teammate. They want to succeed individually while helping the agency grow.

Experience in sales, customer service, banking, retail, hospitality, account management, or insurance is a plus.

Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic are nonnegotiable.

An Arizona Property & Casualty Insurance License is required before your first day of employment.
