Role Overview
- We're looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Account Manager to own and grow key client accounts across the St. Louis region.
- This role combines client engagement, business development, and recruitment support-ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment and knows how to turn relationships into revenue.
- Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and hiring managers
- Conduct regular on-site visits across St. Louis, Chesterfield, and Creve Coeur
- Build strong, long-term partnerships and ensure high client satisfaction
- Participate in client meetings, supplier calls, and spotlight calls
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing accounts
- Partner with internal teams to drive new business and increase account penetration
- Understand client workforce needs and position TekWissen solutions effectively
- Recruitment & Delivery Support
- Train and prepare candidates (CCDs) for client interviews
- Collaborate with recruiters to ensure quality pipeline and faster closures
- Support university outreach programs across Missouri to build early talent pipelines
- Operations & Workforce Management
- Support onboarding and engagement of contingent workers
- Manage timesheets, attendance tracking, and related compliance processes
- Provide guidance and support to active contractors as needed
- Work closely with recruiting, delivery, and leadership teams
- Share market insights and client feedback to improve hiring strategies
- 3-6+ years of experience in staffing, recruitment, or account management
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
- Experience working with MSP/VMS environments is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel locally within the St. Louis area
- Exposure to campus recruitment or university partnerships
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and growth
