The Opportunity and Your Impact
Behind every school that stays connected, every campus that stays safe, and every public service that keeps running, there''s technology. And often a CEC partnership behind it. As a SLED Sales Executive, you''ll build those partnerships with the government agencies and schools that serve the public across your territory.
It''s a role with real range. You''ll open new doors and grow the accounts you already have, moving from a cold prospect one day to a long-term partnership the next. Leading with a consultative approach, you''ll start by understanding the customer''s challenge and then bringing the right CEC solution to the table, solving problems that matter to real communities.
Why CEC
CEC started in 1946 as a small Iowa radio shop. Eighty years later, we''re a nationally recognized technology integrator. We''re still owner-led and people-first, with a mission to help our clients, partners, and employees stay safe, secure, and connected. We commit to our people for the long term, deliver on our promises, compete to win, and have fun along the way.
What You''ll Grow Into
"Level Up" is one of our company values, and we mean it. You''ll become a specialist in a complex market, develop expertise across CEC''s full range of technologies, and build a portfolio that grows your earnings right along with it.
What You''ll Do
As a CEC SLED Sales Executive, no two weeks will look quite the same. You''ll create opportunities through prospecting and referrals, partner with our construction sales team on bids, and build relationships with the end users behind them. You''ll develop a real feel for the SLED market-its challenges, buying cycles, and what agencies and institutions actually need-and put it to work shaping tailored proposals, representing CEC at trade shows, and keeping your pipeline sharp in Salesforce.
What You Bring
You don''t need to check every box. If most of this sounds like you, let''s talk.
