Our pharmacy is expanding to service facilities in Northern California, and we're looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Account Manager to serve as the local point of contact for our East Bay-area customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a real difference in the customer experience.

You'll work closely with facility leadership and staff, as well as our pharmacy operations team, to make sure our customers receive responsive service and the support they need. From helping with onboarding and training to troubleshooting day-to-day issues, you'll be the person our facilities know they can turn to.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Northern California facilities, developing strong relationships and understanding their needs, challenges, and goals.
• Partner with pharmacy operations to quickly resolve service issues and keep clients informed throughout the process.
• Build trust with facility leadership and staff by providing responsive support, expertise, and practical solutions.
• Support new facility onboarding, including data collection, eMAR support, quality assurance, and coordination with internal teams.
• Conduct training and education for facility staff on pharmacy systems, operational best practices, regulatory requirements, and available tools.
• Prepare for and participate in business reviews with facility leadership to discuss service, performance, and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate client activity, contacts, tasks, and follow-up in Salesforce CRM.
• Support local relationship-building and business development initiatives as needed.
• Stay informed on long-term care pharmacy and industry trends.
• Work closely with internal pharmacy teams to continuously improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of related experience
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy and/or an institutional patient-care setting, such as assisted living or skilled nursing
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet-based systems
• Demonstrated customer service, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with pharmacy systems, eMAR, Salesforce, or similar platforms
• Experience training facility or healthcare staff

The Opportunity

This position starts at 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity.

The initial schedule will require flexibility to support onboarding and account management for our Northern California facilities. Travel throughout the East Bay and surrounding territory is required, with overnight travel expected during initial training.
