Gothic Landscape is looking for a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to join our Palo Alto team. This is a highly visible role for a motivated professional who can successfully balance customer service, team leadership, quality control, and business development.

What You'll Do

As an Account Manager, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial landscape clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Manage a portfolio of landscape maintenance accounts, ensuring quality, timely, and profitable service.
  • Lead and support field crews, including morning dispatch, workload planning, performance management, coaching, and addressing employee or client concerns.
  • Conduct proactive property and site quality inspections and communicate findings and action plans to clients and internal teams.
  • Partner with branch leadership and operations to improve customer retention, service quality, productivity, and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional services and consultative selling.
  • Network within the local market and generate referrals and new business opportunities.
  • Prepare, present, and follow up on proposals and bids for additional services and new opportunities.
  • Help the branch achieve its overall goals for quality, customer retention, growth, and profitability.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader who understands the commercial landscape industry and knows how to successfully manage both clients and field operations.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of commercial landscape experience with demonstrated client and crew management experience highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing a large portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts.
  • 2- or 4-year college degree in Landscape Management, Horticulture, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • 2–3+ years of experience training, leading, and managing multiple crews, gardeners, or field employees.
  • 3+ years of strong customer service, sales, account management, or comparable experience.
  • Demonstrated success identifying opportunities and selling additional services to existing clients.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present proposals and bids.
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with branch leadership and field teams.
  • Professional presence and the ability to build trust with clients, employees, and business partners.
