    Our client is the global leader in fluid system products and services with over 70 years of experience in the Chem/Petro Chem, Oil and Gas, and Transportation industries. Today, its cutting-edge products and services support semiconductor and alternative fuels as two of its largest markets globally. This office is the local authorized sales and service center for customers located in Indiana, Michigan, Central Kentucky, and Northwestern and Southwestern Ohio.

    The Account Manager is the primary customer interface and part of a team responsible for providing a variety of services, solutions, support, and information in a responsive manner to customers in order to win and maintain their trust, confidence and long-term business. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, excellent communication and presentation skills and outstanding customer service. They will work closely with an array of support staff including Engineering, Production, Inside Sales and Customer Service to fully support our clients’ needs.

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop significant revenue and drive growth by executing on key strategic sales initiatives including: Fabrication Services, New Products, Service, and Core Products.
    • Establish relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the customer base and develop a strong working knowledge of their processes, applications, and business model.
    • Develop and maintain territory and account plans that are aligned with the company’s strategic plan.
    • Prepare and deliver technical (application and product) presentations to audiences that consist of executives and engineers.
    • Able to create and demonstrate a competitive distinction by identifying and implementing value and cost saving initiatives designed to lower the customers’ TCO.
    • Territory: Bowling Green KY to Columbus, IN and Brandenberg, KY to Shelbyville, KY.
    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred (mechanical, chemical, or fluid technology)
    • 1-5 years or more experience working in sales, business development, or marketing is preferred
    • Technical experience in engineering, analytical instrumentation, automotive, alternative fuels or in similar industries is preferred
    • Proficiency Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
    • Knowledge of broad range of fluid system components and applications preferred.
    • Mastery and use of the Common Sense Selling Process
