About the Job
The Account Manager serves as the strategic owner of assigned partnerships and referral relationships. This role is responsible for driving account growth, strengthening partner engagement, overseeing operational performance, and ensuring successful collaboration between Thriveworks and external organizations. The Account Manager functions as both a relationship manager and strategic consultant, utilizing data, reporting, and proactive outreach to maximize partnership success.
Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic owner for assigned partnerships, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and referral sources.
Develop and execute account-specific strategies to strengthen partnerships, increase referrals, improve engagement, and support growth.
Monitor and analyze account performance, including referral trends, conversion rates, utilization, demand, and barriers to care, and provide actionable insights.
Lead partner meetings, presentations, and business reviews, communicating performance, opportunities, and recommendations.
Proactively identify and address partner needs, concerns, and escalations while continuously improving the partner experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally and with the Care Partnerships Associate to effectively support shared accounts and partner needs.
Maintain accurate Salesforce account records, contacts, referral attribution, activities, and performance documentation; serve as the subject matter expert for assigned accounts.
Participate in internal meetings and training, share best practices, and continuously identify opportunities to add value and streamline processes.
Skills / Qualifications
Strong communication and relationship-building skills - You’re comfortable on the phone, in person, and via email

Problem-solving mindset - You’re able to troubleshoot partner issues with creativity and urgency
Comfortable with data - You know how to look at performance metrics and translate them into actions
Organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently, executive communication, and presentation skills
Requirements
2 - 5 years of Healthcare experience is required
2–5 years of professional experience; business development, account management, and proven growth within accounts are required
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and productivity platforms (Google Suite, Monday.com)
