Description

Account Manager is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the production, maintenance, and operations of aerospace manufacturing and engineering projects. They ensure that materials, resources, and workforce are efficiently allocated to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

Production & Operations Planning: Develop and maintain daily production schedules, coordinate workflow, and mitigate risks related to capacity and material constraints.

Scheduling & Coordination: Work with engineers, suppliers, and production teams to optimize workflows, prevent delays, and ensure on-time delivery of aircraft and aerospace components.

Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret aerospace manufacturing drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements to guide planning decisions.

Resource Allocation: Manage allocation of materials, labor, and equipment to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to align planning with technical and operational needs.

Compliance & Standards: Ensure all planning activities comply with aerospace industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills: Proficiency in manufacturing planning software, ERP systems (ex, Job Boss), and aerospace-specific tools ( ex.Exostar Portal).

Analytical Skills: Ability to forecast production needs, assess capacity, and resolve bottlenecks.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams.

Attention to Detail: Precision in scheduling and documentation to avoid errors.

Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to address production issues and adjust plans as needed.

Experience: Often requires 3-5+ years in aerospace manufacturing or related industries, with a background in production planning or program management .
