Position Overview: Rubber Inc. is seeking an Account Manager located in the Jacksonville, FL area to drive revenue growth by expanding relationships with current customers while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role focuses on increasing market presence and sales performance within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate brings experience in outside sales within the automotive industry, thrives in a self-directed environment, and has a strong ability to generate new business while delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and expand an existing portfolio of clients within the assigned region
Develop a productive sales route through regular in-person client visits
Identify customer needs and recommend tailored product solutions
Establish and nurture relationships with both new prospects and current accounts
Support customers with inventory management and customized programs
Introduce and promote new products across your territory
Process orders and drive revenue growth
Track sales activities, leads, and customer interactions using CRM tools
Collaborate with vendors to provide product knowledge and training to clients
Work alongside the Regional Manager to address challenges and identify growth opportunities
Deliver excellent customer service and effectively handle objections
Qualifications:
3–5 years of sales experience in a related field
Background in cold calling and new business development
High school diploma or equivalent required
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong prospecting and client acquisition skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proven relationship-building skills
Professional appearance and conduct
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 2,800–3,800 miles per month)
Solid computer proficiency
Basic math skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
