Position Summary
Graham Personnel Services is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager & Field Specialist to support continued growth throughout Maryland. This hybrid role is ideal for a professional who excels at building customer relationships while also developing technical credibility through direct field engagement.

The Account Manager & Field Specialist will play a critical role in expanding business opportunities, supporting customer accounts, and collaborating closely with field service teams. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically curious, and comfortable balancing business development responsibilities with hands-on field activities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout Maryland through networking, customer visits, and industry engagement
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers and strategic accounts
  • Support company growth initiatives through proactive outreach and relationship building
Lead Generation & Account Growth
  • Generate qualified leads through customer interactions, referrals, industry events, and ongoing account development
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements, upgrades, and additional service offerings
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership development
Relationship Management
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers by delivering responsive communication and professional support
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, internal operations teams, service technicians, and leadership
  • Represent the company professionally during customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
Field Engagement & Technical Support
  • Participate in field service activities including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and system reviews
  • Develop technical knowledge and operational understanding through direct involvement at customer sites
  • Collaborate with service teams to better understand customer systems, challenges, and operational needs
Reporting & Collaboration
  • Track customer interactions, sales opportunities, and pipeline activity using CRM tools
  • Provide regular updates regarding customer activity, project opportunities, and market trends
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Experience in account management, business development, technical sales, or field service within a related industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly establish trust and credibility
  • Mechanical or technical aptitude with a willingness to participate in hands-on field activities
  • Ability to balance customer-facing responsibilities with field-based work
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • Ability to travel throughout Maryland as needed for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
  • Willingness to travel overnight approximately 6–8 nights per month
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent industry experience may be considered in place of formal education
