We are an industry leader in heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) with both domestic and international customers. 

Position Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for developing and negotiating commercial contracts and supervising technical negotiations on all contracts for the proposals assigned.  Assumes complete responsibility, technically and commercially for the assigned proposals.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• * Maintain and expand existing account relationships at engineers, procurement, and senior management levels.
• * Obtain contract awards with assigned customers for new HRSG capital projects. Such awards will be based on accurate technical designs, commercial terms complying with corporate guidelines and risk profiles, and at * profitable price levels, while ensuring customer satisfaction. 
• * Assume complete responsibility, technically and commercially, for all proposals assigned. Ensures coordination between multidisciplinary proposal team members. Review commercial terms and contract conditions and * negotiates contracts commercially. Provide guidance for and oversees technical conformance.
• * Provide budgetary quotations to accounts when requested, which includes overseeing design of HRSG, calculation of budget price utilizing “in-house” cost data from previous firm quotations and preparation of budget proposal * letters.
• * Provide guidance and coordination to Proposal Engineers. Delegate technical responsibility to Proposal Engineers.
• * Assist in developing the sales strategy section of the business plan.
• * Gather information of future projects or other market opportunities. Maintain the CRM database for the assigned customers and proposals. 
• * Attend trade shows, meet with customers and vendors. and prepares and conducts presentations.

  Requirements

• * B.S. in engineering as a minimum. 
• * Minimum seven (7) year’s experience in the sales of custom-engineered capital goods for the power industry internationally.
• * Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• * Proven marketing, management, and negotiation skills.
• * Broad understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and the structural and mechanical principles of the product and its heat transfer process. 
• * Experience in negotiating successful technical and legal contracts.
• * Organized and able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly to requests.
• * Able to establish and maintain customer relationships at senior management levels.
• * Have a valid passport and be willing to travel frequently and on short notice.

• Our base pay ranges are set based on the function, discipline, level and regional location and are benchmarked against companies in the same or similar industry.  Final offers may vary based on multiple factors, including education, depth and relevance of work experience, relevant licenses and certifications, and may vary from the amounts listed in the job posting.

  The base pay range for this Account Manager role is $120,000 - $166,500 annually.
