    About the role

    The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day service, strategy, and execution of commercial insurance programs for both existing and prospective clients. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strategic risk management consultation across all commercial lines. This position is both client-facing and operational, requiring strong technical expertise, relationship management skills, and a commitment to client advocacy.

    What you'll do

    • Client Relationship Management
      • Build and maintain strong relationships through proactive communication and service.
      • Conduct policy review and educate clients regarding coverages, exclusions, and risk exposures.
      • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, service requests, and coverage questions.
      • Serve as an advisor by identifying opportunities to strengthen client insurance and risk management programs.
      • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention through consistent engagement and follow-through.
    • New and Renewal Business Management
      • Manage the new business and renewal process from planning through policy delivery.
      • Analyze client operations and exposures to identify coverage concerns and risk management opportunities.
      • Develop new business and renewal strategies in collaboration with Producers and internal team members.
      • Gather underwriting information and maintain accurate exposure data.
      • Coordinate with carrier underwriters throughout the marketing, quoting, and renewal process.
      • Review terms, identify coverage gaps, and negotiate improvements when appropriate.
      • Prepare proposals, coverage comparisons, and recommendations for client presentations.
      • Maintain knowledge of carrier products, underwriting appetites, and market conditions.
    • Policy Service and Administration
      • Ensure client files, activities, and documentation are accurately maintained within the agency management system.
      • Assist with day-to-day policy changes, billing questions, audits, and rewrites
    • Team Collaboration
      • Work closely with Producers, CSRs, CSAs, Claims Advocates, and other service team members.
      • Mentor and support service staff assigned.
      • Participate in process improvement initiatives and workflow development.
      • Contribute to agency retention, growth, and client satisfaction goals.

    Nice to haves

    ·Active Property & Casualty License required.

    ·Minimum of five (5) years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience preferred.

    ·Proficiency in Applied Epic, carrier portals and Microsoft 365 applications.
