Account Manager

As an Account Manager at Equilar, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to executive HR, Legal, and C-suite leaders at many of the world's largest companies. You'll help clients maximize the value of our market-leading SaaS platform while driving long-term partnerships and business growth.

What You’ll Do

 

As an Account Manager, you'll own a portfolio of approximately 75–100 enterprise accounts and be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience from onboarding through renewal.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Build trusted relationships with executive HR, Legal, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Deliver outstanding client service that drives customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Proactively monitor account engagement, identify opportunities to increase platform adoption, and resolve client challenges.
  • Lead product training and ongoing education to help clients maximize the value of their subscriptions.
  • Manage annual renewals for a seven-figure book of business.
  • Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities that expand client partnerships and support company growth.
  • Partner closely with Product, Research, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military or professional experience.
  • Experience in account management, client success, customer success, client services, inside sales, HR, or executive compensation.
  • Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, HR technology, legal technology, financial services, or data and research businesses is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A passion for learning and helping clients achieve measurable business outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits

 

On-Target Earnings: $70,000–$100,000 (base salary, commission, and bonus).

Additional Information

 

  • This position is based in our Chicago office.
  • Employees work in-office Monday through Thursday.
