Job Overview - Account Manager - 34372
Our client is seeking a relationship-driven Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of established customer accounts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing long-term partnerships, identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Working closely with sales leadership, the Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, collaborating with internal teams and supplier partners to ensure seamless account management while uncovering opportunities to expand product offerings and increase sales.

- Manage and strengthen relationships with an established portfolio of customer accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, providing exceptional service and building trusted partnerships with key decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through expanded product offerings, increased volume, and new business initiatives.
- Monitor customer activity, sales performance, and market trends to proactively identify opportunities and address challenges.
- Partner with internal teams and supplier representatives to ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and forecasts within the CRM system.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed.
- Travel nationally to visit customers and strengthen business relationships.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Account Management, Sales, or Business Development experience.
- Experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or a comparable industry is required.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify account growth opportunities and interpret sales trends.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
- Comfortable traveling approximately 20% nationally.
