Description:
The Account Executive is responsible for supporting the growth and success of company's Apparel & Underwear within the North American Wholesale Channel. This role focuses on driving sales, building strong retail partnerships, identifying business opportunities, and executing seasonal strategies that support revenue growth and brand objectives. The Account Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams and key retail accounts to deliver strong business results while maintaining the integrity and positioning of the brand.
Responsibilities:
Account Management & Sales Execution
Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned wholesale accounts, developing a strong understanding of their business objectives and opportunities for growth.Support the development and execution of account-specific sales strategies to achieve seasonal and annual sales goals.Identify opportunities to expand distribution, improve assortments, and drive incremental sales within existing accounts.Conduct regular business reviews with retail partners to evaluate performance and align on future opportunities.
Sales & Business Performance
Monitor, analyze, and report on weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales performance.Manage retail OTB, item selling performance, and forecasting activities to support account growth and inventory productivity.Partner with Merchandising to develop assortments that meet account needs while supporting brand and financial objectives.Execute seasonal line presentations and sell-in meetings, ensuring assortments align with consumer demand and Calvin Klein brand standards.Track key product initiatives and identify opportunities to maximize sales and profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Operations, Design, and Finance teams to support business objectives and account strategies.Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and field teams to ensure strong product presentation and execution at retail.Support marketing initiatives designed to increase consumer engagement, traffic, and conversion both in-store and online.
Operational Management
Prepare and maintain monthly shipment projections, sales forecasts, and account reporting.Monitor order status, shipment execution, and delivery timelines to ensure account expectations are met.Assist in managing market preparation, order entry, sample coordination, and other sales support activities.Maintain accurate account records and reporting tools to support effective business management.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.4-6 years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, or related retail business functions.Experience working with major wholesale accounts such as Macy's, Dillard's, Belk, Hudson's Bay, or similar retailers preferred.Strong analytical and organizational skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and NuOrder.Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong internal and external partnerships.Understanding of the underwear market, retail landscape, and competitive environment preferred.
