We're seeking an Account Executive to serve as a trusted advisor to middle market commercial clients by delivering exceptional client service, developing customized insurance solutions, and supporting long-term client success. In this role, you'll lead the renewal process, develop marketing strategies, manage complex client accounts, and collaborate with producers, carriers, account managers, and internal operations teams to deliver tailored risk management solutions. Success in this position requires strong technical expertise, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to client advocacy and operational excellence.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    What You'll Do / Your ImpactClient Partnership & Risk Strategy
    • Support clients with coverage placement renewals claims coordination policy analysis and ongoing service needs
    • Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to secure optimal coverage terms pricing and outcomes
    • Serve as the primary client contact building strong relationships and advising on risk and coverage strategies
    • Contribute to retention and growth initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand services and strengthen client engagement
    Operational Excellence
    • Maintain accurate documentation in agency management systems such as AMS360 or EPIC
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements internal procedures and policy accuracy standards
    • Manage renewal timelines marketing processes and deliverables across assigned accounts
    • Support audits reporting and policy review processes as needed
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent and timely client service delivery
    Strategic Contribution
    • Assist in identifying coverage gaps risk exposures and mitigation strategies
    • Partner on new business opportunities including proposal development and client presentations
    • Support cross sell initiatives across lines of business
    • Contribute to process improvements and overall service enhancement initiatives

    QUALIFICATIONS

    What You BringRequired
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum of 10 years of related commercial insurance experience
    • Active New York State (NYS) Property & Casualty (P&C) License
    • Strong client communication and relationship management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred
    • Professional insurance designations or certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU, CRM, ARM)
    • Experience with agency management systems such as AMS and ImageRight
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Compensation:
    Salary range: $150,000 - $170,000 per year
