Account Director - Business Development (Direct Hire) - Atlanta Metropolitan Area

A rapidly growing national consulting firm is seeking an Account Director to drive business development and revenue growth within an assigned territory. This is an excellent opportunityfor a consultative sales professional who enjoys building relationships, working with business owners and executives, and delivering solutions that create measurable financial value for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain referral partnerships with CPAs, business owners, real estate investors, and other professional contacts.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships that generate repeat business and long-term referrals.
  • Meet directly with business owners, CFOs, and executive leadership teams to identify opportunities and present solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and relationship development through closing.
  • Convert warm leads while also generating new opportunities through networking, industry events, and conferences.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and leadership teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals and performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of outside sales, business development, or consultative B2B sales experience.
  • Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close new business.
  • Experience selling to business owners, executives, or C-level decision-makers preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • CRM experience preferred (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • CPA background or experience within tax, accounting, financial services, or professional services industries is highly desirable.
