Account Coordinator

Overview: The Account Coordinator provides critical operational and administrative support to the Strategic Account Management team, enabling the delivery of exceptional client service and successful account execution. This role ensures that client deliverables, internal coordination, and system updates are completed accurately and efficiently, allowing Account Managers to focus on strategic client engagement and growth.

This role ensures that client deliverables, internal coordination, and system updates are completed accurately and efficiently, allowing Account Managers to focus on strategic client engagement and growth. This position is designed as a developmental role, offering exposure to client management, operations, and cross-functional collaboration, with a clear pathway toward a Strategic Account Manager position.

Responsibilities:

• Client Support & Coordination
• Support Strategic Account Managers in day-to-day account operations and client deliverables
• Prepare for and assist in client meetings, including agenda development, materials preparation, and follow-up coordination
• Capture detailed meeting notes, action items, and next steps, ensuring timely execution
• Shadow client interactions to develop understanding of relationship management and account strategy
• Project & Workflow Management
• Submit and track work orders and internal requests, ensuring timely completion
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Marketing, Operations, IT, and Facilities teams
• Monitor task progress and proactively follow up on outstanding items
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and timeline expectations
• Salesforce & System Administration
• Create, update, and maintain Salesforce opportunities, accounts, and related records
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation within CRM systems
• Support pipeline tracking and reporting for account teams
• Maintain and update customer experience documentation and account records
• Contract & Documentation Management
• Maintain contract management hygiene, ensuring documentation is current and properly stored
• Assist in drafting Change Requests (CRs) and tracking contract updates
• Support compliance with internal processes and client requirements
• Client Experience & Operational Support
• Coordinate logistics for client visits, tours, and meetings, including scheduling and materials preparation
• Facilitate completion of tour forms and related documentation
• Support Help Desk case management, including setup, access requests, and follow-ups
• Assist with execution of client experience initiatives and deliverables
• Process Improvement & Team Support
• Identify opportunities to improve account coordination processes and efficiency
• Support development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs)Provide additional administrative and operational support as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–3 years of experience in account coordination, client services, administrative support, or related role
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• (Preferred) Experience supporting client-facing teams or account management functions
• (Preferred) Familiarity with healthcare, life sciences, or patient services industries
• (Preferred) Experience with project coordination or workflow tracking tools
• (Preferred) Exposure to contract management or documentation processes
• (Preferred) Interest in pursuing a career in account management or client success

Pay Range: USD $54,769.98 - USD $68,462.47 /Hr.
