The Wayne County Probate Court is looking for an Account Clerk. This position is responsible for providing accounting and facilities management support within the Budget Department. This position is responsible for maintain accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, supporting payroll operations, managing inventory and office supplies, coordinating facilities and equipment services, and assisting with administrative functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered. Previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or finance-related experience preferred. Strong communication and analytical skills for problem-solving are crucial. Strong computer skills with the ability to work efficiently across multiple software systems simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a high volume of work effectively. Ability to adapt quickly to changing systems, processes, and priorities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information professionally.
Hourly Rate: $19.42
