Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member
Position Overview
Shana Nelson State Farm is hiring a full-time Account Associate in San Jose, CA for someone who wants to build a long-term career in insurance. This is a remote position with hands-on training and coaching from a local agency team that values consistency, reliability, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
Contact prospective customers, present coverage options, and follow up to write new business
Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the agency system
Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals
Participate in product training and licensing coursework
Qualifications
Active insurance license required (Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health)
Prior remote work experience strongly preferred
Comfortable on camera and conducting video appointments (required)
Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
Highly organized and self-motivated, able to manage your day independently
Coachable and willing to follow established processes and documentation standards
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
State Farm or insurance agency experience a plus
