Accident Claims Assistant

Pay:

$41,800 - $45,780 a year

Job Description:

We currently have an opening for a Accident Claims Assistant. This position is responsible for processing motor vehicle accident, incident, cargo and workers compensation claims involving any truck owned or leased to the subsidiaries of Trans-System, Inc.

The position is located right off the Medical Lake exit near the Petro. Easy access right off the freeway, minutes from Downtown Spokane.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Intake calls regarding all potential incident, accident, cargo or workers compensation claims.
• Initiate documentation and notification of necessary personnel.
• Interview, investigate and notify drivers, claimants, witnesses, customers, police officers, tow and recovery personnel, and operation personnel.
• Contact Drug and Alcohol Technician for post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
• Complete all fields in IEG screens, document communications, scan and attach all associated claim documentation into IEG claim system, maintain claim diary.

Education/Experience:

to perform this job successfully, it is preferred an individual have:

• High School Diploma or GED required, and/or some college education.
