Job Title: Accessibility Compliance and Risk Analyst (Project Manager - Advanced) (10806)
Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week)
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
Interview: 1 Round (Virtual)

Key Responsibilities

• Review VPATs and ACRs submitted by vendors
• Evaluate compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 standards
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and inaccurate accessibility claims
• Document accessibility risks (low, moderate, high)
• Prepare clear reports for non-technical stakeholders
• Support Technical Review Board (TRB) with accessibility findings
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, compliance, and legal teams
• Assist in remediation planning and accessibility impact analysis

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in digital accessibility & VPAT analysis
• 3+ years in accessibility risk documentation & technical writing
• 3+ years in accessibility standards (WCAG / Section 508) interpretation & compliance support

Preferred Skills

• Certifications or formal training in WCAG / Section 508 / Digital Accessibility
• Experience in higher education, government, or regulated environments
• Experience with procurement or governance processes
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, HCI, UX, Digital Media, or related fields

Work & Location Requirements

• Must be South Carolina resident OR willing to relocate before start (own expense)
• Strong preference for local candidates (2 days onsite)
• Remote option considered only if no local candidates are available
