THE OPPORTUNITY: Salesian College Preparatory is seeking a full-time coordinator of the Academic Success Program for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting the English and Math Departments. The Academic Success Program Teacher and Coordinator is the school's central agent for administrating, planning, coordinating, and monitoring the school, and resource programs, defining the Academic Success Program. In collaboration with the school's administration, the Teacher/ Coordinator provides student support services in cooperation with the parents, who are the primary educators of their children; with the faculty, the department chairs, counselors, and support staff. The Academic Success Program Teacher and Coordinator will boldly and creatively continue to reimagine the educational purpose and delivery models of support services for all students in their achievement of the school's integral student outcomes. ACCOUNTABILITY: • Uphold and model a moral code that is consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the Salesian mission • Facilitates the strategic vision, planning, and organization of all student support services • Proactively, innovatively, and continuously reimagines the educational purpose and delivery models of support services for all students, including but not limited to ELA and math remediation, study skills development, executive functioning, and health and wellness. • Instructs identified students in best academic success practices. • Plans, implements, and evaluates educational programming in order to ensure continuous program improvement for the benefit of all students. • Supervises the identification, evaluation, and placement of students referred for student support or learning resources. • Coordinates professional development and co-teaching of faculty and staff as related to student support programs • Creates, supervises, and monitors the implementation of all Individual Service Plans • Monitors laws an

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with preference toward a Master's degree from an accredited college/university with emphasis in special education • Two (2) - Four (4) years' experience working with high school students in an academic setting • Special Education Credential and Resource Specialist Certificate preferred.
