Academic Coaching & Tutoring (ACT) provides tutoring and academic support services to the University of Delaware community. ACT's mission is to empower students to develop the academic skills and strategies needed to achieve their goals and support their continued success.
Under the general direction of the ACT Director, the Academic Success Coach I promotes a positive and successful learning experience to support student retention, academic achievement, and degree completion. The Academic Success Coach I provides holistic academic support through individualized meetings with undergraduate students, conducted both in person and remotely, to help students progress toward their academic, personal, and professional goals. The position also supports New Student Orientation (NSO) and related advising efforts, as needed.

Position Location Closes Academic Success Coach I, Office of the Provost Newark, DE Academic Coaching & Tutoring (ACT) at the University of Delaware is seeking an enthusiastic, student-centered Academic Success Coach I (ASC I) to support undergraduate students in achieving their academic and personal goals. The ASC I builds meaningful relationships with students through individualized, high-touch coaching and helps them develop practical strategies for time management, goal setting, study skills, learning strategies, and academic achievement. The position manages a student caseload, monitors academic progress, provides proactive outreach and intervention, and connects students with campus resources and support services based on their individual needs. Working collaboratively with academic advisors, administrators, faculty, and campus partners, the ASC I supports student retention, persistence, and timely degree completion. The position also contributes to academic success workshops, student outreach and recruitment events, New Student Orientation and advising initiatives, and ACT's tutoring programs. This role is ideal for a collaborative professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, working with diverse student populations, and empowering students to develop the skills and confidence needed to reach their goals.
