Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities.

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is searching for a faculty inpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to join its expanding rehabilitation team at the 49-bed UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center in Tyler, TX.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in academics and the ability to provide high-quality and compassionate care to complex patients.

About Your Work:

• 1.0 Full-Time
• Join an experienced team that includes 1 nurse practitioner, physical therapists, nurses, support staff
• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (or flexible schedule)
• Call: 7 days/month that includes 1 weekend per month
• Rewarding teaching opportunities
• Daily Patient Load: 16-20
• EMR: Epic
• Opportunities for outpatient clinic if desired

Certifications: UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center is a Joint Commission-accredited facility for Limb Loss and Stroke Rehabilitation.
