Job Summary:

The renowned Butler Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, is seeking a inpatient Psychiatrist for our intensive or general treatment Unit. We provide care and support for adults with psychiatric conditions such as major depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

 

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Inpatient focused on a 26-bed unit
  • Average of 10 patients per day
  • Monday through Friday daytime work schedule with rotational weekend and Holiday call
  • Teaching/Academic time with Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Psychiatry Residents and Fellows (if desired)
  • Work alongside 2 Psychiatrist and support from Registered Nurses, Internal Medicine MDs ( if needed) and other great resources on the Butler Hospital Campus
  • Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
  • Visa sponsorship available

Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed or currently enrolled in an ACGME accredited residency program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in the applicable specialty.
  • Active Rhode Island MD/DO, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
