Job Summary:

Women & Infants Hospital is searching for a full time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our established and highly respected collaborative team in Providence, Rhode Island. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your clinical expertise in midwifery and academic teaching with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Ob/Gyn Residents.

  • Provide care to a diverse patient population in Labor and Delivery, OB triage, Postpartum, and on the Antepartum Care unit
  • Days, nights and weekends; 7:30a -5:30p and 12a – 10p
  • Midwifery group manages 100-120 births a month
  • Supportive in-house physician colleagues
  • Brand new beautiful  Labor and Delivery Center featuring 20 spacious modern private rooms 
  • Clinical supervision and teaching of medical students and residents
  • Faculty appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Division of Midwifery
  • Research opportunities with national leaders in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited CNM program.
  • Certified by AMCB
  • Active Rhode Island  CSR, and DEA license or eligible
  • 4 + years of CNM experienced required
