The University Advisement Center is seeking to recruit multiple Academic Advisor I positions to conduct individual and group student academic advisement, to assist departments/units with verbal or written academic plans, and to interpret and implement university policies and procedures in the areas of student enrollment and evaluation. We are searching for staff who can find ways to continue to improve some of the fastest-growing graduation rates in the nation. A successful candidate for this position must be dedicated to encouraging student success with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

We will hire multiple advisors from this announcement for the Atlanta Downtown, Dunwoody and Online campus (which is housed on the Clarkston campus).

Preference may be given to those with a bachelor''s degree and one year of experience working with student retention or student affairs programs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience presenting to groups or with group facilitation
Experience following up on problems until resolution.
