About the Opportunity
Job Summary
The academic advisor provides student-centered advising services to Bouvé College of Health Sciences students. The advisor assists students with interpreting degree audits, understanding degree requirements, planning curricular and co-curricular experiences, and making referrals to resources. The advisor interprets and communicates University and College policies and procedures and assists students with navigating processes. The advisor works collaboratively with constituents across campus to facilitate services for students. The advisor will occasionally coordinate programs and events for students and will also coordinate special projects at the discretion of the Associate Director and/or Assistant Dean. This role is located at Northeastern's Boston campus and will observe a hybrid work schedule.
