    JOB:
    This is a Abinitio Developer position requiring excellent design thinking & coding skills in Ab Initio.
    The main responsibilities will be to develop solutions, design frameworks, lead and guide development team. This is a high profile project and will require a strong focus on coding, design and communication skills and the ability to deliver in challenging time schedules.

    Key responsibilities:
    • Designing highly scalable enterprise grade ETL processes in Ab Initio.
    • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in plans, continuous flows, micrographs and handling xml files.
    • Strong knowledge on the components like XML Split, XML combine, Normalize, Join with DB, Rollup etc.
    • Development of complex code to build business rules to load data into target systems using various components in Ab Initio GDE
    • Developing and handling of complex ETL flows like slowly changing dimension (SCD) Type1, Type 2, Type 3 to capture the changes.
    • Lead and guide development team to deliver high quality ETL solutions and providing ETL solutions for new business requirements.
    • Analyse and provide solutions for production issues.
    • Interaction with client for requirement gathering.
    • Knowledge on Jira will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge in Unix and shell scripting
    • Knowledge in Database
    • Experience in performance tuning.

    Job Skills:

    • 6+ years of experience in design & development using Ab Initio is a must.
    • Experience in Talend ETL tool is an advantage
    • Expertise in a wide range of requirement elicitation and documentation techniques, using a range of methodologies
    • Experience with system and user acceptance testing, including test management tools
    • Experience of business process modelling and tools
    • Strong communications skills
    • Analytical and problem solver
    • Familiar with all phases of the SDLC
    • Able to work as part of a virtual team in a culturally diverse background
