ABAP S/4HANA Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP S/4HANA Consultant to design, develop, test, implement, and support SAP ABAP solutions within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on ABAP development experience, including RICEFW objects, enhancements, interfaces, CDS Views, AMDPs, OData, and S/4HANA migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP solutions in an SAP S/4HANA environment.

• Develop and enhance RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.

• Develop OO ALV reports and other complex ABAP reports.

• Develop and maintain forms using SAP Smart Forms; Adobe Forms experience is a plus.

• Build and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, and OData Services.

• Support SAP Fiori integrations and develop backend services for Fiori applications.

• Develop and maintain APIs and interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and REST APIs.

• Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Implement enhancements using BAdIs, Enhancement Spots, and User Exits.

• Develop and maintain Module Pool applications.

• Develop and support ABAP Workflows.

• Participate in ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, including data cleansing and technical remediation activities.

• Perform detailed technical analysis for SAP developments ranging from small enhancements to complex development initiatives.

• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.

• Provide strong debugging and troubleshooting support for production issues.

• Support incident tickets and service requests, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate fixes.

• Support SAP system upgrades, S/4HANA migrations, testing, and post-go-live activities.

• Coordinate and collaborate with multiple technical and functional teams.

• Communicate effectively with multinational clients and distributed project teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP development.

• Strong knowledge of RICEFW development.

• Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP and OO ALV.

• Strong experience with CDS Views, AMDPs, and OData Services.

• Experience with IDocs, BDC, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, and REST APIs.

• Experience with Enhancement Framework, including BAdIs, Enhancement Spots, and User Exits.

• Experience with Module Pool programming.

• Experience with ABAP Workflow.

• Strong debugging and production support skills.

• Experience supporting ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.

• Experience with data cleansing as part of SAP migration initiatives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe Forms.

• Experience with SAP Fiori backend integrations.

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA upgrades and post-go-live activities.
