Target Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 hourly

Job Summary
Northeast Arc's Building Bridges program is grounded in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive. Building Bridges provides individualized ABA services to children over the age of 3 diagnosed with ASD and their families. Behavioral assessments are conducted to identify areas for improvement and learning, and a comprehensive treatment plan consisting of both long- and short-term goals is developed that enables each individual to become independent and successful. As a Behavior Technician, you will be a hands-on partner in that journey, working directly in the home and community alongside families to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children we serve. Responsibilities

  • Provide home and community-based support to individuals using evidence-based ABA approache
  • Work directly with individuals and their families in the natural environment to improve socially significant behaviors across all areas, including communication, daily living skills, social skills, and adaptive behavior
  • Teach goals and skills outlined in the treatment plans and implement behavior strategies developed by the BCBA (clinical supervisor)
  • Attend and contribute to clinical and non-clinical meetings, trainings, and individual supervisions
  • Complete required session notes and data and any additional non-clinical paperwork
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients
  • Support school consultations and parent training as needed


Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, early childhood education, or a related field required
    • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification may substitute for the education requirement
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational skills and flexibility
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, able to maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
  • Ability to drive, walk, stand, and climb stairs in an office and a variety of community-based and home-based settings
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
  • Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment
