Learning Ladders ABA is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to provide individualized, in-home ABA services to a child in Chester, Virginia.
This opportunity is ideal for an ABA professional who is patient, confident in managing challenging behaviors, and passionate about helping children develop meaningful skills.
Location: Chester, VA
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM or 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 15–18 hours per week
Setting: In-Home ABA Therapy
Home Environment: Must be comfortable around a large Siberian Husky
Consistent Daytime Schedule – Enjoy structured weekday hours with afternoons and weekends free.
Supportive BCBA Supervision – Receive professional clinical guidance and ongoing support.
Meaningful One-on-One Care – Make a direct impact on a child's behavioral, communication, and emotional regulation skills.
Professional Development – Gain valuable experience implementing individualized behavioral interventions.
Collaborative Environment – Work closely with the supervising BCBA and family to support treatment goals.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous ABA therapy experience required
Experience working with children
RBT certification preferred
Experience supporting children with challenging behaviors, including yelling, emotional outbursts, and difficulty tolerating denied access or unexpected changes
Must be comfortable working in a home with a Siberian Husky
Patient, dependable, professional, and compassionate
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Provide individualized ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
Implement behavior intervention strategies to support emotional regulation, flexibility, and appropriate communication
Assist the client in developing replacement behaviors and coping skills
Collect accurate behavioral data and maintain session documentation
Collaborate with the BCBA and family to support consistent implementation of treatment strategies
