A/V Technician - $40/hr
Charlotte, NC - Tuesday – Thursday
In-office: 8:00AM – 4:30PM 20% Travel
Key Responsibilities:
•Event Setup & Operation:
o Configure and operate audio and video systems for corporate events, town halls, and executive meetings.
o Ensure proper signal flow and connectivity across AV components.
o Provide technical expertise for Microsoft Teams and Webex platforms
o Troubleshoot platform issues during live sessions.
•Collaboration & Communication:
o Partner with event organizers, IT teams, and external vendors to align technical requirements.
o Offer real-time support and problem resolution during events.
•Equipment Management:
o Maintain AV inventory and ensure equipment readiness.
o Perform routine maintenance and escalate repair needs promptly.

Required Qualifications:
•Hands-on experience with audio systems (microphones, mixers, amplifiers) and video systems (cameras, switchers, projectors)
•Familiarity with Poly conferencing systems and AV signal flow.
•Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with streaming platforms and hybrid event technologies.
•Knowledge of AV control systems and networking basics.
•CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent certification.

Physical Requirements:
•Ability to lift and transport AV equipment (up to 50 lbs).
•Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
