Responsibilities

>Perform oil changes on guest vehicles

>Inspecting oil, cabin, air filters, and vehicle fluid levels and replaces or replenishes as necessary

>Check tire pressure and add air, as needed

>Rotate tires and inspect brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs

>Performs a thorough check of guests vehicles, refers needed repairs and preventive maintenance to service consultant

>Documents all work performed on repair order and inspection sheet

>Operates and maintains in good condition all lubrication equipment

>Assists the service department as needed

>Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner

>Maintains assigned workspace organized and clean

>Maintains high ethical standards in all actions

REQUIREMENTS:

>MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE in the automotive field

>Used Car Tech: Looking for a technician that can work on all makes and models.

>High School Diploma or equivalent

>Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions

>Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously

>Must have Valid California Driver License and Clean Driving Record

>Must have a great attitude and be willing to constantly learn

>Must be customer focused and constantly provide a high level of service

Employment Position: Full Time

Salary: $37.00 - $43.00 Hourly

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
