About Middle Country Automotive

Middle Country Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician who can perform advanced diagnostics along with general automotive repair and maintenance. This opportunity offers up to $58/hour based on capability and up to $130,000 annual earning potential through an hourly performance-based pay structure. Technicians are paid for 40 hours, with production over 40 hours paid at time-and-a-half.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Diagnose electrical and drivability concerns
• Complete general automotive repairs and maintenance
• Service Domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric
• Troubleshoot vehicle concerns and complete quality repairs independently

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong automotive diagnostic and electrical skills
• Ability to troubleshoot vehicle concerns efficiently
• Ability to work independently
• State Inspection License is a plus
• Independent repair shop experience preferred
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required
• Tekmetric and Digital Vehicle Inspection experience preferred, but training is available
