    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated automotive professional to join our service team. In this role, you will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and dependable service. The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction, and works well in a fast-paced shop environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Diagnose vehicle concerns using advanced testing equipment, technical information, and proven troubleshooting methods.
    • Perform complex repairs and maintenance on engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.
    • Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify needed repairs and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Complete work orders accurately and document services performed, parts used, and additional findings.
    • Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members regarding diagnosis, repair progress, and completion timelines.
    • Follow manufacturer procedures, safety standards, and shop best practices to ensure quality and compliance.
    • Use diagnostic scan tools, hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
    • Stay current on vehicle technology, repair methods, and industry developments through ongoing training.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical service information.
    • Experience using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Professional certifications such as ASE are a plus.
    • Manufacturer-specific training or dealership experience is beneficial.
    • Experience with modern vehicle technologies, including computerized systems and advanced driver-assistance features, is preferred.
