Palm Beach Garage is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in West Palm Beach, Florida, for a salaried position paying $75,000–$100,000 per year. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, drivability, and other vehicle concerns across a diverse mix of European, exotic, classic, and vintage vehicles.
Perform intermediate-to-advanced automotive diagnostics using scan tools and other diagnostic equipment.
Complete mechanical repairs, maintenance, inspections, and component removal and replacement.
Diagnose and repair electrical concerns, including power-window and power-seat systems.
Perform engine swaps, suspension repairs, and other in-depth mechanical work.
Work on vehicles spanning multiple generations, from vintage and classic automobiles to late-model European vehicles.
Diagnose vehicle concerns and carry repairs through completion while the front office handles customer communication, estimates, and parts ordering.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of professional automotive repair experience REQUIRED
Intermediate-to-advanced automotive diagnostic skills.
Broad hands-on mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems.
European vehicle experience preferred; the shop works with vehicles including Bentley, Audi, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Land Rover, Jolly, Moke and other specialty vehicles.
Experience working across multiple makes and model years rather than only one vehicle line is strongly preferred.
Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment; the shop uses Autel and multiple scan tools.
Must have your own professional automotive tools.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $75,000-$100,000 per year.
Uniforms provided.
Paid time off: one week after one year and two weeks after two years.
Paid holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Toolbox relocation assistance is available.
