Portsmouth Car Clinic is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Portsmouth, NH who wants to focus on fixing cars—not chasing parts.

• 30%–35% diagnostic work
• 40-hour guarantee for the first 90 days for flat-rate technicians
• Factory diagnostic tooling plus professional scan equipment
• Shop Foreman support for technical backup
• Service Advisors handle parts ordering

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Complete general repairs, maintenance, and inspections
• Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Shop-Ware
• Document findings and repair recommendations
• Communicate repair needs with Service Advisors and shop leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
• A-Level or strong B-Level technical ability
• Strong diagnostic and general repair skills
• Experience with electrical systems and drivability concerns
• Independent repair shop or dealership experience preferred
