Your Specific Responsibilities:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
This position requires ability to deliver a wide range of services to employers and job seekers in the region; must have strong customer service and computer skills, including proficiency with web-based applications.
Qualifications:
As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records.

Preferred:
Preference will be given to those applicants with a bachelor's degree, or four years of professional experience in areas related to employment security, interviewing, counseling, job placement, aptitude testing and assessments, job development, and job analysis.
Pay:
$37,440.00 - $40,000.00 annually, based on experience.

The Work You Will Do:
The Employment Security Representative I is under the direct functional supervision of the contracted service of the Regional Workforce Board. CareerSource Madison performs highly complex and varied professional functions to promote employability for job seekers and workforce development for employers served by the regional CareerSource System. This position involves delivering a broad range of employment services to both job seekers and employers across the region. Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships are essential.
